What is it all about? I have for the last three years been scaling back on presents, trying not to let the month fly by and suck our bank account dry and forget to focus on what is was really all about anyway. We are getting closer but still not quite where we want to be. Anyway, we have an older couple next door who are always wonderful to us, they buy little toys for the kids, talk to us and even our dogs all of the time, they help us fix things or at least offer to. They are great. So all I did was bake them some cookies for Christmas and I got the nicest thank you note and card from them, I just wanted to share it.
You can click on it to make it large enough to read. Anyway, they helped inspire me to not only think of including people in our thoughts and lives at Christmas time, but all year. Our lives are so full, Josh and I seem to have no time for anyone else besides our kids and each other, but little things can be big to others.
Only in Indiana will you get a thank you card for that! What a wonderful neighbor to have.
